This week in Indian Startups funding news (09-14 April)

This week 16 startups received funding, of which 12 received a total sum of about $34 million. Among them, TravelTriangle raised the highest investment of $12 million, followed by Loadshare, which raised about $5 million.

Meanwhile, funding for four of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Kaleidofin: Fintech startup Kaleidofin, which provides tailored provides financial solutions for the informal sector, has raised about $2.8 million in a seed round led by Omidyar Network.

Pipa Bella: Consumer-focused venture fund Fireside Ventures has led a $1 million funding round in fashion accessories e-tailer Pipa Bella.

Aye Finance: Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) lender Aye Finance has raised $4.6 million in debt funding from existing investor BlueOrchard Finance.

Ideal Insurance: Insurance management startup Ideal Insurance Brokers has raised $1 million seed funding from incubation platform Venture Catalysts.

Chariot: IoT startup Chariot has raised $0.3 million from GEMs partners in a Pre-Series-A funding round.

Mojro: Intracity logistics startup Mojro, has raised $0.6 million investment led by 1Crowd and its investor community.

TravelTriangle: Holiday travel marketplace TravelTriangle has raised $12 million in Series C round led by Nandan Nilekani and Sanjeev Aggarwal founded mid-stage fund Fundamentum.

YumLane: Food startup YumLane has raised $4 million in Series A round of funding led by Singapore-based family office RB Investments.

Loadshare: Tech-enabled logistics startup Loadshare has raised $5 million funds in its Series A round led by early-stage fund Stellaris Venture Partners.

LetsMD: Investment firm SRI Capital has put in $1 million in New Delhi-based healthcare-focused fintech startup LetsMD.

Smartivity: Edtech startup Smartivity has raised $0.05 million from S Chand & Company Ltd.

Mintifi: Mumbai-based online lending startup Mintifi has raised $2 million in a seed round from impact investment firm Lok Capital.

Undisclosed deals this week:

Chakr Innovation–a pollution control device making startup has raised undisclosed funds in a pre-Series-A round from IDFC-Parampara Fund and Globevestor Funds.

Loanzen: Peer to peer business loan marketplace startup Loanzen, has raised an undisclosed amount of sum from Kae Capital.

Blockchain startup Elemential  and Ride pooling platform Pooltoo also did not disclose their quantum of deal.
