This week in Indian Startups funding news (12 Feb-17 Feb)

This week 12 startups received funding, out of which 11 were disclosed, which in total received a sum of about $156 million. Among them, Lendingkart raised the highest investment of $87 million, followed by Zoomcar, who raised $40 million.

Meanwhile, only one out of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Fincash: Mumbai-based Fincash, a personal financial services startup has raised $0.15 million from a set of unnamed investors.

PetSutra: Gurugram-based online petcare platform PetSutra, which offers end-to-end solutions to pet owners for adoption, health, food, and wellness of their pets, has raised $0.14 million as a seed investment from a group of investors.

Zoomcar: Self-drive car rental company Zoomcar has closed Series C round of $40 million led by its long-running partner Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M).

Drivezy: Peer-to-peer car and bike sharing startup Drivezy, who has enabled cryptocurrency as a payment option on its platform raised $5 million from its first round of initial coin offering (ICO).

IMAX program: Bengaluru-based education technology startup IMAX program has bagged $13.5 million from the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation (MSDF). LGT Impact Ventures and its existing investor Aspada also participated in the round.

Pandorum: Bengaluru-based Pandorum Technology, a biotechnology startup focused on tissue engineering has raised $3.2 million in its Series A funding round from the likes of early backers Binny Bansal, Indian Angel Network and other high net-worth individuals (HNIs).

Cashify: Cashify, which runs an online platform to sell used gadgets, has raised $1 million in a venture debt funding round from Trifecta Capital.

Lendingkart: Ahmedabad-based SME-focused fintech firm Lendingkart has raised $87 million in equity funding, led by Singapore’s Fullerton Financial Holdings (FFH).

Eduvanz: Mumbai-based edtech startup Eduvanz that provides loans for skill development to students, has raised $0.5 million in a round of funding led by venture capital fund Blinc Advisors.

MoneyOnMobile: Mumbai-based fintech startup MoneyOnMobile has raised $5 million in Series F round of funding from S7 Group.

Holachef : Foodtech startup Holachef has raised $0.31 million from Ashok Kumar Gajera, director at Mumbai-based diamond manufacturer and distributor Laxmi Diamond Pvt Ltd.

Undisclosed deal this week:

Mumbai-based B2B marketplace Wydr did not disclose its deal amount.
