Clinical research and data analytics startup The Healthy Billion (THB) has raised Rs 14 crore from Blume Ventures, Healthquad, and Fireside Ventures. Existing angels including Apoorva Patni and Arpan Sheth, a partner in Bain & Company also participated in the round.
The Healthy Billion fuses clinical research and personalised data analytics offering to patients. Its patient engagement engine is a plug-n-play module solution for healthcare providers.
Floated by Akash Khurana, Gagandeep Singh, Rohit Kumar and Rajesh Pachar, the Gurugram-based company weeds out the pain of integrating across systems and mismatch of clinical terminologies.
Earlier in December 2016, it had raised an undisclosed amount in seed round participated by Ajith Sukumaran(former Nokia executive), Patni and Kanwaljit Singh (former MD of Helion Ventures).
Besides solving aforementioned problems, THB also offers proprietary disease prediction algorithms, real-time micro-segmentation basis clinical parameters, clinically validated protocols-backed automation and patient-friendly content for targeted education amongst others.
