Food discovery engine Zomato has launched 'Zomato Gold' – a membership program for premium dining out and social drinking experiences across Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The Gurugram-based company has priced gold membership at Rs 599 for three months period while annual plan costs Rs 1499.
There is an early bird offer for three months at Rs 299 and the annual plan is at Rs 999. Zomato has handpicked over 1200 plus restaurants for the programme. Besides aforementioned cities, it will roll out Gold subscription to other Indian cities as well.
Zomato Gold is an exclusive dine out and social drinking membership program that extends special perks like a complimentary dish, and up to 2 complimentary drinks, every time you dine out, or hit the bar at any of its partner restaurants in India. Unlike typical happy hours at restaurants, Zomato Gold subscribers will have access to above perks at any given time.

The members also entitled for exclusive invitations to different food and drink events like new menu previews, wine tasting sessions, chef cookout sessions, new restaurant openings, and pub crawls.
Prior to this, Gold subscription was available in UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi), and Portugal (Lisbon and Porto).
Earlier in April this year, Zomato had launched ‘Zomato Treats’, at a subscription fees of Rs 249. It lets subscribers to avail a free dessert with every meal they order across 16 cities in India. Zomato also waived off 7 per cent platform fee for restaurants that enable table reservations through its app.
Taking on its rival Swiggy, Zomato had announced a commission-free campaign for its restaurant partners in September this year. It also turned profitable in all the 24 countries where it operates. The company had hit 3 million orders a month in August this year.
