This week 19 startups received funding, out of which 12 were disclosed, who in total made a sum of $221.21 million. Among them, Avendus Capital raised the highest investment of $152 million, followed by Netmeds which raised $14 million.

Meanwhile, seven out of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Avendus Capital: Financial services firm Avendus Capital has raised about $152 Mn (Rs 980 crore) in a round led by mid-market private equity firm Gaja Capital and global PE buyout specialist KKR.

Meritnation: Online learning platform Meritnation has raised $5.87 million (Rs 38 crore) from Info Edge, an online classifieds portal.

Kalpnik Technologies: Bengaluru-based Kalpnik Technologies has raised $0.5 million (about Rs 3.25 crore) from a clutch of angel investors at Venture Catalysts.

Netmeds: Online pharmacy marketplace Netmeds has secured an investment of $14 million led by Tanncam, a Cambodian investment holding company, which was joined by Sistema Asia Fund.

BigBasket: Bengaluru-based e-grocer BigBasket has raised $8 million (Rs 52 crore) from its four existing investors, including UAE-based Abraaj Basket, and others.

Lendingkart Finance: NBFC platform Lendingkart  Finance has raised around $24.9 million (Rs 162 crore) through both debt and equity fund.

Ola: Ola’s parent company ANI Technologies has pumped in $7.75 million (Rs 50 crores) in its cab leasing business Ola Fleet, according to the filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

EdGE Networks: Bengaluru-based EdGE Networks, an AI-driven HR tech solutions company, has secured $4.5 million in Series A funding led by Kalaari Capital with participation from Ventureast.

Cashfree: Bengaluru-based payments platform Cashfree has got $0.12 million in seed funding from US-based startup accelerator Y Combinator after the startup was selected for its Summer 2017 batch.

Gold Farm: Bengaluru-based agritech startup Gold Farm has raised a seed fund of $2 million from Mahindra Group and venture capital fund Infuse Ventures.

Prest Loans: New Delhi-based NBFC Prest Loans has raised $0.57 million (Rs 3.7 crore) capital.

Vagupu: San Jose, California- and Bangalore-based ed-tech startup Vagupu has raised $1 million in a seed funding round.

Undisclosed deal this week:

Pune-based e-fashion startup Benoit, Delhi-based Agriculture supply chain technology startup Gobasco, Mumbai-based consumer solutions startup OneAssist, daily fantasy sports (DFS) platform HalaPlay, An Aadhaar-based technology startup, AadhaarAPI, fresh produce supply chain management startup Freshboxx, and Mumbai-based Superhero Brands did not disclose their funding amount.
