Delhi-based Leverage Edu, an online platform for higher education services, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from a group of investors.
The investors who participated in the round include Kashyap Deorah, Founder, HyperTrack; Anand Sankeshwar, Director at VRL Logistics managing; former chief financial officer of Babajobs Sadashiva NT; and Arjun Mehta, former CFO at American Express India, among others.
The company plans to use the funds to grow its team and make investment in product development.
Founded in April 2017 by Akshay Chaturvedi and Rajiv Ganjoo, Leverage runs a career assessment and mentorship programme in the higher education space. Besides, it also offer finance services to students.
The portal uses machine learning to help students build academic profiles, including writing papers and filing for patents for the selection process.
The online edutech portal also offer a Saas-based tool called UnivGateway to universities, which help them admit the right students.
