For past few months #LokSabhaElections2019 on Twitter recorded more than 396 million Tweets, 600X up from 2014 elections. On Thursday, the country used the social media platforms for discussions and breaking news with 3.2 million tweets. One third of these tweets being recorded between 3 to 4 pm, same hour when PM Modi tweeted the win of his party – a tweet which got highest retweets.
@NarenderModi was the most discussed political personality whereas @BJP4India was the most talked about political party. (Source)
