E-pharmacy platform Truemeds has raised $5 million in its Series A round led by InfoEdge Ventures, Asha Impact and Indian Angel Network. The proceeds will be used to expand its footprint to three new cities, product and tech building and to invest in improving the supply of medicines.
Founded by Akshat Nayyar and Kunal Wani, the startup lets consumers find medicines of alternate brands with the help of prescription uploaded by them. It claims to provide services in over 16,000 PIN codes.
