Premium tea brand TeaMonk has raised Rs 6.5 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures along with Sarcha Ventures, Anil Menon, Jai Gupta, Madhu K Mohan, and Lead Angels also participated. It would utilise the fresh proceeds for expanding in domestic & international markets, product innovation, and launch of subscription platform in India.
Launched by Ashok Mittal and Amit Dutta in 2016, TeaMonk sells premium speciality tea sourced from the Nilgiri hills in Tamil Nadu and Darjeeling in West Bengal. In April 2019, it had raised $1 million in pre-Series A round. (Source-PR)
