New Delhi based toys design startup Smartivity has raised Rs 5 crore in a Series D funding round from its existing backers — Ashish Kacholia, Ant Space, and Nirja Publishers. According to the regulatory filings, the company has allotted 2,529 Series D at an issue price of Rs 19,766 per share to raise the total amount.
Kacholia led the round by investing Rs 3.8 crore, while Ant Space and Nirja Publishers poured in Rs 1 crore and Rs 15 lakh respectively. The five-year-old Smartivity designs, develop, and sell STEM educational toys for children in the age group of three and 14 years. (Source-ROC)
