Sequoia Capital has appointed former Uber Asia-Pacific head Amit Jain as its Managing Director. With the appointment, Jain will join the firm’s growth team and help existing growth-stage companies in India and Southeast Asia.
Jain, who will be based out of Singapore, had quit Uber in April this year. This is the second high-profile appointment by Sequoia after it appointed Rajan Anandan from Google as its managing director in 2019. (Source)
