Supreme Court has denied TikTok’s request to transfer all cases from Madras High Court to the apex court that were related to four-week ban imposed on the Chinese video-sharing app.
The apex court said that the Madras High Court can very well address all issues. Madurai bench of the Madras High Court had passed an interim order and lifted ban from the app on April 26 saying that the court is only worried about crimes against online users, especially children. (Source)
