Sarva, a chain of yoga and wellness, has raised $6 million seed fund from pop icon Jennifer Lopez and her fiance, baseball icon Alex Rodriguez. So far, Sarva has raised around $8 million in equity financing from a few global celebrities including Indian actor Malaika Arora.
Two years ago, Gym chain Talwalkars’ acquired a 50% stake in the company for $2 million. A brainchild of yogi turned entrepreneur, Sarvesh Shashi, Sarva has 91 studios across different cities in India. (Source: Press release)
