GrowthStory promoted regional digital media startup Homescreen Network that runs platforms like SparkTV and TheBigScope, has raised $2 million in Series A funding from Saama Capital.
Homescreen Network offers the video content in five languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada. A brainchild of Soum Paul and T V Mahalingam, the startup will use the proceeds to strengthen its content delivery platform by introducing more languages. (Source)
