Live sports engagement platform Rooter has raised $1.7 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Paytm, leAD Sports, and Rockstud Capital along with Anthill Ventures, Venture Catalysts, among others also participated. The startup would utilize the capital to grow its users base and capitalize on the platform’s game content.
The Delhi-based Rooter is known to offer live fantasy game, match prediction, and P2P engagement via integration of technology and social gaming. It is also planning to enter into a strategic partnership with Paytm First Games. (Source-PR)
