Online e-sports streaming and community platform Rheo has raised $2 million in a funding round from Lightspeed Venture Partners and Sequoia Surge, along with Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini, Mahesh Narayanan, and Phanindra Sama also participated. The startup would deploy the capital towards producing more content in all the major Indian languages in the next few months.
Founded in 2015, Rheo is a social video platform where consumers can stream, watch, comment and streamers can create channels to monetize while playing video games. (Source)
