Finally, OYO has announced that it has acquired co-working space provider Innov8 for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition would strengthen the commercial real estate play for the SoftBank-backed company.
Post-acquisition, Innov8 will continue to operate independently. Entrackr exclusively reported about the deal in January this year
OYO also runs two coworking brands – Powerstation and WorkFlo. Following the deal, OYO would absorb Innov8’s 150 members employee base while its angel investors Rajan Anandan, Vijay Shekhar Sharma and Girish Mathrubootham including others would exit from the venture.
