The Chennai-based Aquaconnect has raised $1.1 million in a seed funding round led by Omnivore and HATCH. The startup will utilize the capital to accelerate the growth of its farmer network and enhance its AI-enabled platform.
The two-year old startup is an AI-enabled platform that integrates the network of aquaculture farmers in Asia with predictive SaaS tools for farm management, along with an omnichannel marketplace. With the deal, Reihem Roy from Omnivore will join Aquaconnect’s board. (Source)
