Ride-hailing major Ola will receive affordable and mass-market range of electric vehicles (EV’s) from Hyundai Motor India by 2022-23. The car which will be sold to commercial buyers (like Ola) and personal buyers could be priced below Rs 10 lakhs.
Subsequently, Hyundai is also planning to invest in producing electric vehicle batteries from India in association with a local partner. Previously, Hyundai and Kia Motors had pumped in $300 million in Ola to boost EV offering in March 2019. (Source)
