Fintech startup Nira has raised $2.1 million in a pre-Series A funding round from an undisclosed clutch of angel investors of India, Europe, and the UK. The funding will be used to add high-quality talent to its team, further develop its product and technology along with scaling up its lending volumes.
Founded by Rohit Sen and former Goldman Sachs colleague Nupur Gupta in 2018, Nira is known to offer loans of up to Rs 1 lakh for up to a year via its app-based credit line. (Source)
