Mobile gaming publisher Nazara Technologies has invested Rs 7.5 crore in Qunami creator Sports Unity, thus, acquiring a majority stake in the company. Vaibhav Gaggar also participated in the round. Sports Unity will deploy fresh funds to expand internationally.
For the past one year, Nazara is making investments in the gaming genre by acquiring InstaSportz, CrimzoneCode, among others. Last month, it had picked up a 67% stake in Sportskeeda for Rs 44 crore. (Source)
