Mobile gaming publisher Nazara Technologies has acquired a majority stake in sports content portal Sportskeeda.com. The firm has picked up 67% stake by investing Rs 44 crore in Sportskeeda, valuing it at about Rs 65 crore.
Following the acquisition, Nazara will increase its users’ engagement and help scale up Sportskeeda. Nazara has made investments and strategic acquisitions in the gaming genre in the past one year. Previously, it acquired InstaSportz, CrimzoneCode, NODWIN, and Nextwave, among others in 2018. (Source)
