Swiggy has appointed Lawrence Charles IIlg on its board of directors in March this year, reveals RoC filing. Lawrence is the CEO of Naspers (Ventures unit). He looks after emerging trends, acquiring and operating disruptive platforms for the South African group.
Besides three co-founders, Swiggy’s board consists of three backers – SAIF Partners and Accel one seats each while Naspers also has prior representation on board via its Indian investment head – Ashutosh Sharma.
