Rural fintech startup Jai Kisaan has raised $30 million in a Series A round led by Mirae Asset. Syngenta Ventures, existing investors and others also participated in the debt and equity round. The funds will be utilised to expand into new geographies.
Founded by Arjun Ahluwalia and Adriel Maniego, Jai Kisaan provides digital financial services starting with credit for online and offline, income-generating, rural commerce transactions. Last month, the startup had launched Bharat Khata which offers a digital ledger for rural businesses. (Source: PR)
