Walmart-owned Flipkart has elevated Jeyandran Venugopal as the company’s Chief Product and Technology Officer. He will now be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the organization with primary emphasis on building future capabilities across products and engineering.
Before this, Venugopal had been working with the Flipkart as the SVP, Engineering for the past ten months. This development has come on the same day when Flipkart is ramping up grocery plays with plans to enter the food retail business. (Source)
