OYO has been claiming that China is its biggest market but it was not listed on country’s largest OTA Ctrip. That’s not the case anymore as the company has entered into a strategic partnership with Ctrip.
So far, the Chinese subsidiary of OYO has been claiming the majority of bookings via offline walk-ins. This is significant for OYO as it can now tap in demand leveraging Ctrip’s vast distribution network and the platform ecosystem. (Source: PR)
