EkAnek Networks has raised Rs 40 crore in a Series A1 funding round led by Alpha Wave Incubation. Existing investors- Sequoia Capital India, Lightspeed India, and Matrix Partners also participated. It would utilize the fresh proceeds to expand in Abu Dhabi along with hiring a team of data scientists, product managers, and engineers.
Led by Kartik Sheth and Chandranshu, the two-year-old startup focuses on building the ecosystem for new-age brands in lifestyle categories through creating influencer networks, commerce platforms, and other support infrastructure. It had raised $10 million worth seed round in March 2019.
