Chiratae Ventures invests Rs 7 Cr as seed fund in Railofy

Railofy, a startup that provides travel protection to railway passengers against waitlist and reservation against cancellation, has raised Rs 7 crore in its seed funding round from Chiratae Ventures. It would utilize the capital to expand pan India using a technology-led business model.

Founded in 2019, Railofy offers flight tickets to railway passengers if their train ticket is not confirmed after the chart preparation, at a similar price. For shorter distances, it provides buses at nominal prices if the train ticket is not confirmed. The protection is currently available on 153 train routes. (Source)
