Augmented reality-based educational toys maker for kids, PlayShifu has scooped up fresh funding of $7 million in Series A round led by Chirate Ventures, Inventus Capital and Bharat Innovation Fund while existing backers IDFC-Parampara Fund also participated in the round.
With the fresh funds, Vivek Goyal led company is now focussing on building phygital interactions, new product developments and expand its retail presence from 15 countries to more than 30 countries by 2020. Till date, the startup has raised around $8.5 million. (Source)
