Mumbai-based venture capital firm, Artha Ventures has raised Rs 220 crore towards the final close of its debut fund. This incorporates Rs 25 crore as part of its greenshoe option with the plan to invest in 28 startups in the next two years. According to Artha, it has allocated over 65% of its corpus for follow-on rounds.
Founded by Anirudh Damani, Artha focuses on startups ranging from seed to early-stage across B2B, B2C and D2C segments.. Its portfolio includes Agnikul, LenDenCLub, PiggyRide, and others.
