Within3 days of receiving flak from the people, Amazon.com withdrew 33 products from its platform. Without issuing any statement, Amazon’s international site withdrew products like kitchen rugs and doormats which they were selling with pictures of Hindu deities on it. Around 1.47 lakh people lodged the petition online on change.org and #BoycottAmazon trended with over 33,000 tweets on microblogging site. (Source)
