Amazon Pay to offer UPI-enabled P2P transactions within its app

After seeing the initial growth of transaction via online shopping, bill payments, recharges, scan and pay for offline transactions, Amazon Pay is now starting UPI-enabled P2P transactions for consumers.

With banking facility, Amazon will join the league of UPI-powered P2P transactions providers such as BHIM, Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe, among others. After Google, Amazon will be the second offshore player to get P2P transfer licence. (Source)
