Madras High Court has adjourned the Aadhaar-Social Media linking case till 19th September as the Supreme Court is in the process of hearing Facebook and WhatsApp’s petition to transfer four similar public interest litigation.
On the contrary, Facebook’s senior advocate wanted the adjournment till 13th September. This traceability issue being a policy issue cannot be decided by a High Court as the order may change the platform features, said WhatsApp’s lawyer Kapil Sibal. (Source)
