Sustainable energy-tech platform Urja Sathi has secured Rs 35 lakh in its seed round co-led by Paper Arizona’s co-founders Ankit Jain and Sharlee Jain.
The company plans to allocate the funds towards acquiring talent, improving customer support, and enhancing marketing, branding and visibility amongst its potential B2B and B2C audiences, Urja Sathi said in a press release.
Co-founded in 2023 by Anurag Srivastava and Gaurav Gupta, Urja Sathi is a new-age e-commerce marketplace for the solar and clean energy sector and offers comprehensive solutions to the solar business community as well as end-users across India by providing a wide array of online services, products and promotions.
According to the Lucknow-based company, it assists manufacturers, suppliers, installation services and other businesses in the solar and clean energy segments in growing their businesses. It also enables end-users to properly understand, and evaluate the system components, and system integrators and helps other businesses to make informed decisions for choosing high-quality, reliable solar products suited to their custom needs.
Urja Sathi competes with the other players in this space like Solartrade, SunSync Technologies, Malem, U-Solar Clean Energy and others.
