Audio platform Vobble raises Seed round led by Lumikai

Child focused audio content platform Vobble has secured $1 million in a Seed funding round led by Lumikai Capital along with participation from Blume Founders Fund and others.

The Bengaluru-based company was also recently seen on Shark Tank season III where they were given a proposal from Emcure Pharmaceuticals’ executive director Namita Thapar. 

The funds will be implemented to expand its user base while enabling them to find the right product-market fit, product development and further enhancing its AI capabilities, Vobble said in a press release.

Co-founded in 2022 by Neha Sharma and Sowmya, Vobble offers story-series, podcasts, music, and audio-shows. Each piece is produced with dialogues,  sound effects, and immersive background scores, providing an auditory experience.

Vobble claims that it has partnered with publishers like HarperCollins, Scholastic, Rebel Girls, Tulika, HasBro (Peppa & Monopoly) and Amar Chitra Katha to highlight and aim to cater quality products.

The company’s flagship product, The Vobble Box includes kid-safe headphones, and activity books and it offers an approach to storytelling that nurtures imagination and encourages learning.

The other platforms that have created a niche in this space are  Dizhua, TT Voice, and Tiya Yalla.
