Priyanka Gill, co-founder of content-to-commerce unicorn The Good Glamm Group, has decided to step away from the active role at the New Delhi-based company to join early stage venture capital firm Kalaari Capital as a venture partner.
With this transition, she will now head this initiative to enable more female founders in the startup ecosystem. Gill has been a founding board member of Kalaari’s CXXO initiative for female founders.
Gill will also continue to be a co-founder of The Good Glamm Group, where she is being elevated as the chairperson of Good Media Co. As per the statement, she will continue to advise on strategic and investment matters of the company.
The Good Glamm Group is yet to announce a new CEO who will replace Gill at Good Media Co which also houses brands like POPxo, ScoopWhoop, BabyChakra, and MissMalini Entertainment.
Gill’s previous startup POPxo was acquired by the Good Glamm Group in 2020 where she joined as co-founder and led the media and content business of the startup. It’s worth mentioning that Kalaari also invested in POPxo and is a stakeholder in The Good Glamm Group.
