Med-tech company Larkai Healthcare has secured $500K in its seed funding round co-led by FAAD Network, QI Ventures, RTAF and additional government grants.

The funds will be utilised for technological advancements and amplify its sales verticals through strategic investment, Larkai Healthcare said in a press release.

Co-founded in 2020 by Pritam Dhalla and Abhilash Chakraverty, Larkai Healthcare is a biomedical company with innovative solutions that can bring change. It provides a device that can detect early-stage heart impulse and valvular disease-related diagnosis in 15 seconds, a smart inhaler cap that reduces the wastage of drugs during asthma or pulmonary tract disorder treatment, and a cost-effective and lightweight disinfection tunnel.

According to the Bhubaneswar-based company, it aims to deploy AI in healthcare, making it accessible to anyone, anytime, and anywhere.  The company bridges the gap between diagnosis and treatment with its commitment to deliver instant and early diagnosis with accuracy through its advanced AI technology.

FAAD Network invests in early-stage startups across various sectors & geographies. With more than 2,000 Angels, HNIs, and VCs, FAAD has invested in over 75 startups, with follow-on rounds in more than 55% of its portfolio companies.
