Women nourishment brand Nutrizoe raises bridge round

Nutrizoe, a women’s nourishment brand, has raised Rs 3 crore in a bridge round led by Inflection Point Ventures.

The funds will be used for the expansion and enhancement of its Lactobite portfolio following the completion of clinical trials, the company said in a release. The focus will be on further developing the product line to cater to a wider range of needs and preferences.

Additionally, the startup aims to export its products to international markets, expanding its reach beyond India including UAE.  Funds will also be allocated towards research and development to create new product formulations, the firm added.

Founded by Richa Pendake and Saanket K, Nutrizoe excels in the domains of pregnancy, postpartum, and lactation, introducing new and distinct categories. It distinguishes itself through its ownership of patents and intellectual property, which enables the creation of innovative and exclusive formulations.

With their hero product ‘Now clinically tested Lactobites’, the firm claims to have touched more than 2 lakh families.

Angel investing platform Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) supports new-age entrepreneurs by providing them with monetary and experiential capital and connecting them with a diverse group of investors. In March 2022, IPV had announced the launch of a $50 million CAT 2 AIF Physis Capital to invest in pre-Series A to Series B growth-stage startups.
