Iron Pillar leads $6 Mn round in healthtech startup Fold Health

Healthtech startup Fold Health has secured $6 million in a funding round led by Iron Pillar. The round also witnessed participation of Dr. Rushika Fernandopulle, Dr. Christine Cassel, Dr. Molly Coye, Sridhar Krishnan and Anurag Jain.

This brings Fold Health’s total funding to $12 million. The fresh proceeds will be deployed towards scaling the business and hiring talent, Fold Health said in a press release.

Co-founded in 2021 by Abhijeet Gupta and Ram Sahasranam, Fold Health is an end-to-end solution for healthcare providers, which integrates with electronic health records and allows its customers to use software tools to automate tasks. According to Fold Health, its features include a workflow engine that automates much of the work required by value-based providers, including care gap closure, transitional care management, annual wellness visit completions, high-risk patient engagement and attribution growth and protection.

The startup recently opened its research and development office in Pune which employs 40 people and is aiming to rapidly expand its employee count in the US office which employs nine employees currently.

Fold Health aims to grow 10 fold in the next 12 months. In recent times, healthtech startup HealthifyMe raised $30 million in its pre-Series D round and SaaS healthtech startup HealthPlix raised $22 million in its Series C funding round.
