Keto, protein-based food brand  Bajo Foods has raised $2 million in a new funding  round led by Mount Judi Ventures along with participation from Mr S Ramadoral and KP Balaraj.

Keto, protein-based food brand  Bajo Foods has raised $2 million in a new funding  round led by Mount Judi Ventures along with participation from Mr S Ramadoral and KP Balaraj.

The proceeds will be deployed for brand building of its new product ranges, expanding channels to offline retail, hospitals, and bolster its leadership teams in branding and revenue generation, Bajo Foods said in a press release.

Founded in 2019 by Sudarshan, Bajo Foods started with Keto products, and provides low-carb food products - Keto packaged foods and Keto fresh foods. Since then, the product range has expanded to feature Atta,cookies, mixtures, namkeens, and chocolates. 

The Bengaluru-based firm claims to have cloud kitchens from which it serves fresh foods in four cities - Gurugram, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The brand is also targeting expansion to around 35 cloud kitchens in the span of 12 months in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Chennai through a franchisee model. With its cloud kitchens, the company delivers fresh food items, Parathas, Rolls, Sandwiches, Bakery, and packaged foods to its customers.

Bajo Food says that its products are available for purchase on the company’s website and ecommerce marketplaces like  Flipkart and Amazon.
