Suraasa raises $1.2 Mn in seed round

Suraasa has raised $1.2 million led by Inflection Point Ventures. NB Ventures from the UAE, SuperMorpheus from Singapore, Vinners and SucSEED Innovation from India have also participated. 

Founded in 2018 by Rishabh Khanna, Ankit Khanna, and Sahil Makker, Suraasa is a skill-tech and career-tech startup focusing on upskilling teachers. The team claims to have onboarded over 150,000 teachers on its platform from more than 50 nationalities. 

Suraasa offers pedagogy-led teacher education programmes. The firm claims that these programs are in alignment with India’s NEP 2020 and have various countries’ latest teaching standards.

Inflection Point Ventures portfolio companies include Fresh From Farm, Buyofuel, Automovill, Qube Health, Cryptosat, Intellelo and Vanity Wagon among others.

Recently, the Gurugram-based fund invested in Fresh From Farm and Buyofuel.
