Enterprise-focused wellbeing platform Human Edge has raised $1.5 million led by Bharat Innovation Fund. Lead Angels, Force Ventures and a few angel investors also participated in the company’s maiden external financing round.
The fresh capital will be utilised to develop a mobile app and set up their sales processes and team in the overseas market to tap global corporations.
Founded by Marcus Ranney in 2020, Human Edge aims to democratise the healthspan of the workforce by providing personalised bio-hacks to optimise their energy levels at home, work and play to enhance employee health and performance.
According to Human Edge, it’s building a proprietary platform for empowering its users to engage in daily “biohacks”- small, actionable, lifestyle-based modifications that focus on optimising a person’s energy levels toward meeting a specific health outcome.
Human Edge claims that it has been revenue positive in the first year of its inception and is now on track to achieve up to five-fold growth in its topline in the ongoing fiscal year (FY23).
The Mumbai-based startup has 45 clients in sectors such as BFSI, IT, marketing services and professional services and it targets to double the number of clients by FY23. At present, the United States and Singapore are the two largest markets for a year-old company.
