Contextual e-commerce platform The Nestery has raised over Rs 6 crore in a pre-Series A led by Inflection Point Ventures.
The funds will be utilised towards expansion of the team, technology enhancement, and generating original content, The Nestery said in a press release.
The Nestery is a marketplace for children and maternity products that helps parents discover what to buy, when, and why. Products at Nestery are curated, safe, original, and parent-approved which helps the parents discover safety and quality-verified maternity and children’s products with context.
According to The Nestery, the company focuses on child development and engagement with products from more than 400 brands. The company has also curated an empathetic catalogue that understands exactly when a parent needs a product in their parenting journey.
The overall revenue from the childcare market is projected to be about $40 billion and The Nestery is focusing on modern parents which is a $15 billion market.
