This week, 29 Indian startups raised funding, of which 24 received a total of about $138 million. Niyo and AppViewX were the top fundraisers which scooped up $30 million and $20 million respectively. Last week, 33 homegrown startups raised funds worth about $461 million.
Meanwhile, the details of five of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.
Growth/late-stage deals
This week, two growth stage startups have raised their new round which include Niyo’s $30 million round and SaaS startup AppViewX’s $20 million Series B round.

Early-stage deals
In the early-stage deals, 27 startups have raised funds which also include five undisclosed rounds. Healthtech startup Eka Care was on top of the list with a $15 million Series A round. The list also includes drone startup EndureAir Systems and healthtech startup Fitterfly.
Undisclosed deals
Swizzle, The Healthy Company, Fundflo, Adaptive, and EVELABS did not disclose their financial details.
City and segment-wise deals
This week, Bengaluru was on top in terms of the number of startup deals and the amount raised by them. According to Fintrackr’s data, 16 Bengaluru-based startups have raised funds this week amounting to $100.66 million or 73.12% of the total funding. During the week, Delhi-NCR-based startups raised $10.75 million across 4 deals.

SaaS startups were the top segment in terms of the number of deals as startups in this space raised $21.1 million across 4 deals. Fintech, edtech, D2C brands, agritech, healthtech, and food tech startups were next on the list.
Mergers and Acquisitions this week
Apart from the fundraisings, the week also saw a few acquisitions. The list includes the acquisition of edtech platform Harappa Education by upGrad, Omuni by Shiprocket, Syntizen by M2P Fintech and Flinkhub by Hesa.
VC Fund
Among venture capital funds, Auxano Capital raised a $25 million Fund for Indian startups. First Cheque also closed its second fund at $4.75 million.
