ShopSe raises $6.1 Mn in Series A round

ShopSe, an online EMI platform, has raised $6.1 million as a part of its Series A round from BEENEXT, Chiratae Ventures and White Venture Capital, the fund backed by Amrish Rau and Jitendra Gupta.

The round will let ShopSe, founded in 2020, expand to 150,000 more retailers, hire more, grow lender partnerships and develop the platform further, the company said. This funding round comes just after a year of raising a seed round of $5.5 million.

Since the previous fund raise, ShopSe team has grown from 10 members to over 300 employees. ShopSe says it has increased its presence to over 35,000 retail points.

ShopSe’s digital partners include Banks/NBFCs such as HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, IIFL and others.
