EV manufacturing startup Oben EV has raised $1.5 million from investors at We Founder Circle, Rakesh Somani, Gaurav Juneja, Siddharth Shah and other angels including Sumeet Pathak, Dr. Milan Modi, and Dr. Aloknath.
The firm will utilize the newly raised funds to launch their product in the market, accelerate new product development, and expand experience centers.
Launched in 2020 by Madhumita Agarwal and Dinkar Agarwal, Oben EV is developing in-house electric 2-wheelers with indigenously developed components. According to the company’s website, its electric bike runs for 250 km on a single charge, clocking a top speed of 90km/h.
The Bengaluru-based company is set to launch its first electric bike in March 2022 and plans to bring 4 new homegrown products over the next 2 years in various segments.
