Wiingy, robotics edtech startup, has raised $400K in an angel funding round from Aroa Ventures, Abhinav Sinha, Maninder Gulati, Kavikrut, Rohit Kapoor and Ashish Goel, along with Vineet Nanda and Manish Chopra.

According to Wiingy, the fresh capital will be used to develop, scale its robotics kits supply chain, and build an early team with technology, product, teaching, and design skills.

Founded by Asit Biswal, Wiingy provides robotics kits and 1:1 live classes on coding and advanced sciences for children aged between 5-15 years.

Wiingy has launched robotics courses as its initial offering and is looking to launch artificial intelligence, wireless networking, coding, and physics in the coming months.

The startup claims to be a unique combination of multiple learning and skill development methods, including DIY robotics kits, online and offline community events and a guided coding platform.
