trica, a new entity of dealmaking platform LetsVenture, has raised $3 million in its seed round led by a clution of institutional and individual investors such as Accel and Kunal Shah.
LC Nueva, Secocha Venture along with individuals such as Anupam Mittal, Ashneer Grover, family offices of Apurva Parekh and Rahul Talwar have also joined the round.
The funds raised will be used to build out the technology infrastructure stack for equity management for startups and investors, to scale the product and grow the team, said trica in a press release.
Co-founded by Nimesh Kampani, trica creates software products for equity management and transactions. Trica’s products include Trica Equity and Trica Capital.
The startup claims that over 350 startups are using its equity management SaaS product across India, Singapore and the US.
Trica Equity, formerly MyStartupEquity, is SaaS product for cap table and ESOP management and Trica Capital facilitates investments in growth stage and pre-IPO companies from family offices, ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNIs) and domestic and global funds.
