Assam-based home decor startup KraftInn has raised an undisclosed amount in its seed round led by NEDFi Venture Capital Ltd. (NVCL), through its North East Venture Fund.
The funding money will be used in expanding its inventory, designs and strengthening its marketing, sales and distribution teams, said KraftInn in a press release.
Founded by Parikshit Borkotoky and Pramathesh Borkotoy, the startup works towards blending the traditional designs, weaves, patterns, material and processes from North-East India with modern designs, materials, processes and manufactures home décor products.
The brand claims its product line spans across six categories to over 50 products, its offerings includes lamps, storage utilities, garden, home and office accessories.
