Cloud-software company Neuron7.ai has raised $4.2 million or about Rs 30 crore in its seed round led by early-stage venture capital firm Nexus Venture Partners and Battery Ventures. The firm has come out of stealth mode to announce this round.
Other early backers and advisors of the company include Akash Palkhiwala, CFO Qualcomm; Ashish Agarwal, CEO Neudesic Global Services; Kintan Brahmbhatt, GM Amazon Podcasts; and Anand Chandrasekaran, EVP Five9.
The proceeds will be utilized to expand its engineering, product and sales team, said Neuron7 in a press release.
Floated by Niken Patel and Vinay Saini, Neuron7.ai helps drive the transformation of customer services into a cloud-based workflow, particularly for companies managing complex products in technology, manufacturing and healthcare sectors.
The one-year-old Neuron7.ai claims to have tested its products with several Fortune 1000 companies while it was in stealth mode.
